My homeroom STEM class is in the process of designing a sleeve that will help pitchers in both baseball and softball find and monitor the most effective way to throw. They have decided to name this the All-Star Sleeve and need help funding for the completion of this project. The basic idea of the sleeve is simple. The pitcher will wear a compression-like sleeve connected with wires and sensors to help monitor a pitcher's elbow, wrist and shoulder. The sleeve will connect to an app that will then provide coaches and pitchers with feedback on how the pitcher threw, tension on the joints, etc. The majority of the donations made to this project will go towards the funding of sensors, which can be more expensive items. We hope to have a working prototype before the school year ends, with data collected from our players here at RHMS. Please help us fund this unique project and help our STEM students realize their goal!
