When my students visit the Building Corner (Block center) in our classroom they use so many different skills! They flex their imagination and creativity, they problem solve and strengthen their fine motor skills. The best part is watching my students learn to cooperate and work together as a team. "How can we make this taller?" or "Let's add this here!" They practice manners and communication skills as they decide together how they are going to accomplish their goal. The pure joy they experience when they have completed their creation is absolutely wonderful to be a part of. These items will help them expand on their ideas and open a whole new level of imaginative play!
