These materials will help the whole school collaborate to recreate a well-known artwork with yarn. We will work on utilizing fine motor skills as well as learning to enlarge a piece of art. Each student will get their own canvas that they will add yarn to that will be one piece of the bigger picture. Once all of the pieces are finished, we will put them all together on a large canvas. My students were introduced to weaving earlier this year and loved it. I am hoping to bring more textile art experiences to them through this project.
