My students need tactile experiences. Books and online content that is PRINTED make for a better learning environment. They have hands-on material to engage with, annotate, and discuss. The book I requested, "Fifteen American Speeches Worth Knowing," is a highly accessible text for all learners. It uses primary sources to connect major events to famous people and their words. The text offers a variety of speeches, speakers, and subjects, spanning U.S. History. My classroom is in desperate need of a printer to provide materials for students, ranging from political cartoons that we analyze to photos from various time periods to help who different aspects of American history and life. Your support of these resources make it easier and more equitable to provide hands-on resources to all my students.
