Many of my awesome 5th graders deal with things they shouldn't, like ADD, ADHD, and having a fear of asking for help. I want to help my excellent students to get over their inability to listen for extended amounts of time and for me to be able to help them overcome their learning struggles. I want my classroom to be a fun learning environment! The solution to our 5th Grader's problems is called "Active Chairs." these chairs allow students with ADD or ADHD. Get over the anxiety of sitting still and allow for them to concentrate on the subject at hand. It will also enable the kids to feel comfortable asking me a question or for me to call them over to my desk to get help. These chairs will become the "cool chairs" that everyone will want to learn at.
