As of right now, the students are relying on the built-in speakers and microphones from their tablets. Unfortunately, they are not of the quality required for purposeful education. Another way the headphones will boost their learning is by keeping background noises to a minimum. Muffled sounds and being asked "can you repeat that?" will cease. The high-quality microphone will let all of us hear each other with a quality set for an educational environment. Lastly, the students will learn responsibility by having a precious product to take care of.
