Since due to Covid, my students won’t have as many opportunities for movement, group work, and sharing in the classroom I wanted to provide them with their own individual form of flexible seating. Students will be able to use these cushions while sitting in their seat or on the floor to complete their work. My hope is that they will be more comfortable and will be able to focus better on learning. I am hoping to decrease fidgeting and increase focus during learning time. These young students who are not used to sitting in a chair for 6 hours a day will be able to take breaks by choosing to either sit in the floor or their chair comfortably during individual work time.
