Students of all ages need exposure to technology throughout their day. As 21st century learners, students need to be engaged in their learning through methods other than paper, pencil and manipulatives. My students will build problem solving skills and confidence when working with ipads. Research shows certain iPad apps can increase student's vocabulary, math and reading skills. Apps such as Khan Kids, Raz Kids and others will provide differentiated instruction and tasks for all kids in reading and math groups. They will also provide immediate feedback to students about their learning. They will be taking pictures as evidence of their learning and sharing their evidence with the class.
