Our goal of this project is to upgrade and add technology to our Media Center including an audio system, a microphone, and speakers. Currently, our sound system is barely audible, outdated, and in desperate need of an upgrade. Our Media Center is utilized to provide and engage in lessons, guest speakers, author visits, faculty meetings, and professional development. Our School Parent Organization meets monthly here as well as district meetings scheduled throughout the year. It is important to provide our students as many different opportunities as we can to learn in different ways. Our library is one way we can provide additional meaningful instruction. Sometimes a change of scenery from the classroom can boost student morale and interest in a lesson. Many teachers also collaborate and co-teach lessons with our staff in the library. The Media Center staff has many opportunities to create and teach many of our own lessons and research skills to all grades. Many different events and professional development are held here as well to benefit students and staff. Our current sound system has made it difficult for all students and staff members to adequately hear instruction. Upgrading this technology will benefit our entire school and help our Media Center be as successful as possible in all endeavors. Please help add some Media into our Media Center!
