We are a team of eight teachers of blind/visually impaired and work with over 150 students who are blind or visually impaired that serves 9 districts in a metro area. With your donation, we will be able add multi-cultural and diversity into our braille library. We strongly believe that children that are blind and visually impaired need access to braille books that are diverse and reflect the families of the students we work with. These books will be used during home visits with our littlest students, for our learners who are just learning to read to explore, and for our older students who are fluent in braille to enjoy! * We have access to a braillist. What we need are the books in print so that we can add the braille! Please help blind/visually impaired students have access to multi-cultural and diverse books!
