This project will supply the materials needed to teach our upcoming unit on ramps. I am requesting a set of wooden ramps, balls, and cars that are just the materials we need! These materials will excite my students and foster their love for science as they explore how objects move! My students will be able to practice scientific skills as they learn about ramps and rolling and sliding objects. These materials will provide endless opportunities for students to observe and describe the way objects move when they are placed on ramps of different steepness and when they hit other objects. Students will also be able to predict and compare the behavior of objects that roll versus objects that slide. By supporting this project, you are supporting future engineers and scientists!
