Our current situation of distance learning during the pandemic has created additional social-emotional needs for my first graders and I want to help them express themselves and find a creative outlet. Art is a wonderful way to help them heal. It is a wonderful way to lower their anxiety and entertain themselves at home. I hope these wonderful art supplies will get them excited and motivate them to engage in creative activities, which will transfer to other areas of the curriculum and help them become critical thinkers and problem solvers.

About my class
