The current school year has been very different and at times quite challenging for me as an educator. This is because I have students learning both in-person and virtually at-home all day, everyday. As a result, I have found that many activities I have used in the past do not work for my population of diverse learners. Unfortunately, I have also found that this year I simply do not have the time to develop meaningful resources for the kids to enjoy, like I have in past years. My hope with fulfillment of this Donor's Choose grant is that I will be able to purchase quality TPT activities that are ready for classroom use. I plan to implement these resources across all subject areas. Specific lesson focus in the coming months will be on geometry as we explore 2-D and 3D shapes. We will also work to explore the Properties of Matter in science class. I know that I can make these learning units something very fun, rigorous, and special for my students with your help!
