My classroom is a safe place for students where they can access the resources they need. I have a vision for the learning environment I want to create in my classroom, and there are a few pieces that will start to make that dream a reality. Balance ball chairs would be great for my students because they allow them to move around during class while remaining seated. They are fun and can help students release nervous energy. I’m also asking for room dividers that would help to reduce noise and distractions for my students. These dividers would be placed together in order to create a wall. Finally, a punching bag would be useful for students when they feel overwhelmed or frustrated. We would use this resource to practice appropriately channeling feelings into behaviors.
