While I am a welding instructor, not all instruction takes place in the shop. A large component of my curriculum is textbook based, and due to coronavirus, much of my instruction is now done online. The Chromebook chargers are to have extras on hand in case students forget to charge their Chromebooks, and this way, they will not miss out on the virtual instruction for the day. The cell phone chargers will help ensure that students can keep their phones charged in the event of a circumstance when their phones are needed in lieu of Chromebooks due to connectivity issues. The power strip is to ensure the proper protection and utilization of these digital devices.​
