During the summer of 2020, I had to opportunity to attend some amazing professional development seminars to help take my teaching to another level. One of the speakers emphasized how hands on projects and creativity can help students grow and be engaged in the classroom which will create confidence in themselves and their work. When students feel great about their work and have the tools and materials to create awesome work, it shows that they will want to continue to produce and give their all. I work in a Title I school and I want to provide my students with all the tools, knowledge and resources to help them succeed. Using the Silhouette Cameo will help me to build my skills and creativity by creating meaningful and relatable resources. It will help inspire, improve and enhance my lessons to provide engaging resources for my Nutrition classes.
