Technology has become a major asset in the classroom. Teachers are always looking for new ways to engage students and ways in which to incorporate technology. I am always looking for new ways in which to integrate technology into the classroom setting. An iPad would provide me with the opportunity to teach using my interactive white board while still circulating throughout the classroom. I will have better access to students and will be able to see exactly what they are doing while I am working with them to complete lessons. This will allow me to see first hand who is striving and who may need extra help, as opposed to me being tethered to my hover cam located next to my computer. An iPad will also provide my students with a different type of technology that they can use one on one with me. We can use an iPad for educational games, assessments and data collection, all which are an important part of day to day teaching and learning.
