Organization is one of the key's to a successful school year. Third grade is all about challenges and learning to rise above them. It is important that students are motivated to improve and reach their goals. I want to create a classroom that will push students but also encourage them not to be afraid to try. The supplies requested will help our classroom stay in tip top shape for the school year. The drawer roller cart will help keep our weekly lessons organized. I would like to use this for both guided reading and small group activities as well. The Velcro dots will be useful for multiple classroom ideas such as; our classroom word wall, activities for small groups, and math activities. By donating to our project, you will not only help students with the tools to succeed for third grade but to improve my students' thinking from, "I can't do this" to "I can do this"! There are several supplies on the list that will serve multiple purposes and can be used for more than one project. Students will benefit from using supplies such as, the clear protector sheets, to practice math and ELA lessons for whole group lessons. The goal is have items in my classroom that are reusable and can be sanitized. As a first year teacher it is important that our school year starts with a bang, organized, and ready to succeed. I want to give my students a fun, inspiring, and focused atmosphere to learn in.
