As a first-year teacher, the classroom feels empty and the students are eager to fill it and their minds with the Math we will dive into. The goal of this project is to provide students greater opportunities to solidify their understanding using the manipulatives, extending their thinking with the class library, and bringing more concepts to life for them by making small group work available. Students are eager to have resources to work within class where they have the support of the teacher and peers to make mistakes and explore. They will have the opportunity to have hands-on learning beyond a digital tool that supplements the physical.

About my class
