My students miss coming to school, socializing with their friends, and learning in a school setting. Something they have shared with me that they miss doing is ART (especially painting). At a Title I school, most of our students have limited access to art supplies and materials at home. I would love to be able to send art supplies home to my students so that they can do something they miss doing. Also, I would love to be able to send art supplies home to my students because art has been proven to be helpful with social-emotional regulations. I am hoping that these art supplies will also help my students with any anxiety or stress they may have as a result of all the changes they have experienced this year.
