In today's teaching, I am having to work from home some days on a moment's notice and because of this, I am struggling with providing consistent education to my students. Unfortunately, I do not have the same tools at home as in the classroom. I am hoping that by getting digital tablets, I will be able to continue to offer notes and examples by writing on my Chromebook screen as I would on my classroom Smart Board display. I would keep one at home for teach from home days (school closure, weather, illness). The other would be for school so I can properly space myself from the students to insure everyone is safe. I have up to twenty-eight students in the class at a time and standing at the front all the time means I often have to be in students' personal space. With a digital tablet at school, I could continuously navigate the classroom to make sure I am staying at least six feet from students' personal space.
