As a Spanish immersion teacher I'm always thinking on ways to help my students explore the language in unique, meaningful ways. I want my students to know that language is about creativity, collaboration and most of all fun. If my students are enjoying the language, they will continue to get better at it. As an avid fan of Lego, this year I've been able to experiment language education using building bricks. By using building bricks, my students have demonstrated improvement in their language skills and appreciation for the language. I have noticed that my students not only enhance their language ability but they also enhance their creativity, collaboration skills, problem solving skills and presentational skills as well. The product I have selected will provide enough sets for my 55 students working in teams. This will help me provide all of my students, and not just a few, with the same learning opportunities that projects using building bricks can provide.
