I am a fourth grade special education teacher. I teach students who are blended learners. Every day, I position a laptop to face the smart board. On the laptop, I am logged onto a Google Meet with my students who are learning from home so that they are engaged in the live lesson with their peers who are in-person. This benefits all of my students because they have the same expectations and routines daily while learning from the same teacher, whether they are learning at home or in the school building. Help me give my students an iPad. With an iPad, I could quickly create, model, solve and explain math equations and word problems with the glide of a finger during live streamed and pre-recorded lessons!
