Every visit to our school library is like a magical adventure to my students! They love every opportunity to explore new books. The Tuck Everlasting novel study will allow us to read the book together as a class for both in-person and remote only students. We will have the chance to complete projects and activities aligned for sixth grade with the print and digital resources. Students will have the opportunity to use their imagination and creativity while completing a project based on the novel Tuck Everlasting. While reading, we will take a trip into Treegap to a place with a magical tree of life. We will complete a plot mountain graphic organizer, do a creative writing activity, put together a circlebook report, and create a big galloot character study (art project using one character of choice from the book). This project will allow for student choice as well as give students hands-on activities that meet their grade-level learning standards. Making learning fun and engaging is extra important to me and my students!
