I would love to give the fifth graders at our school things to do at recess. Right now our students are with the same group of kids all day. Recess used to be the time to get to leave your classmates in the dust and play with your friends from other classes, now we are together all the time. Our recess locations are even separated, putting 4 of the 6 classes in different sections of an empty field or in a parking lot. Funding this project would provide our kids with balls and activities to get moving and learn some teamwork! We have been in person since August, our wonderful kids have mastered the games of sharks and minnows, tag, and even making up our own versions of tag- they are ready for something new!
