In math, my students often learn best by receiving small group instruction. While I am working with a small group of students on specific deficits I have to have other materials for students that aren't in my small group receiving one-on-one instruction, this means I must find something rigorous and meaningful for the remainder of my students to do. The VersaTiles set is an engaging and interactive way for them to practice math fluency skills, but also make sure they are getting their answers correct. This project will allow up to eight students to work independently on math skills in an engaging and interactive way. Because they are able to check their work on their own, they can receive instant feedback in order to correct their mistakes with this skill practicing system. This allows me to work with other students in a small group setting while providing an engaging way for other students to increase their math fluency and math problem-solving skills.
