As we all experienced, 2020 had much racial injustice that came to light within our country, world, and important to us: our school community. We are submitting this project request to supplement a previously funded project that will benefit the entire school community - and this time we are including EVERYONE from out youngest Kindergarteners, through our emerging Second Graders to our outgoing Sixth Graders! Our students are looking for resources, books specifically, to connect with and grow from. We are asking for every student in our K-6th grade school to receive a book that specifically addresses anti racism. The book we are striving for every student to receive is called *Anti-Racist Baby* by Ibram X Kendi. Please help us secure this vital and extremely influential book for every student we teach.
