I teach kindergarten, and often it is the students' first time where they have to share with strangers. Or handle situations they have never seen before. So I teach them how to handle different situations and what they should do. The incentives are used for students as they navigate the day, and make good choices. They are also used when a child is having a rough day and needs just a little something to turn their day around. The modeling clay is used for creative time. The students get time to relax and make fun objects.
