These plastic crates will be used to create a more comfortable seating arrangement in the classroom during circle time, read aloud, and large group instruction. We already have small mats on hand and plan on attaching these cushions to the crates. Using these mats on the floor is another option, but sometimes, they can become a distraction for these young learners. It is my hope that getting my students off of the floor will help decrease the fidgets, and will elicit longer attention spans and more engagement. Can you help?
