Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." I believe lasting change comes when we teach children from the beginning that we are all more alike than we are different. My desire is that my classroom be a place where every child feels love and belonging just the way they are. As I read these stories to them, it will allow them to see people that look the same as them and different from them normalizing and welcoming diversity to our class and the world.

About my class
