Even though I am a Social Studies teacher, I am passionate about developing literacy among our students. Reading will also sharpen their reasoning skills! We know that a love of reading sets students up for a life of learning. It is so important to give students access to books that reflect diverse interests in experiences. The selection of books available did not include many works by indigenous/Latinx authors. Please consider donating through other means :) These books will allow students to own books that they love! Thank you for considering this project :)
