Each month we have a new focus and project. Next month, we will be focusing on celebrating Black History Month. Through the exciting exploration of award-winning and well-reviewed picture books, scholars will deepen and enrichen their knowledge and understanding of African American History. Scholars will have the choice of reading or writing poetry/stories, dancing or singing, or researching heroic African Americans who changed history for our Black History Month Celebration. Thank you in advance for all of your help and support in educating these fantastic first graders about the importance of Black History Month!!!

About my class
