My students that will be returning are in need of supplies that enable to them to access the curriculum and learning at their own seat. We need to follow numerous COVID safety rules and students must have their own supplies as a precaution to reduce the spread of germs. Another reason this project will benefit my students is by allowing them to be exposed to new stories which address social emotional needs during a time that they need it the most. One last reason this project would benefit my students is because it would allow them practice with new technology within the classroom. The tablet will be shared among students who don't have access at home to the computer programs we use at school. The books will help them with generating ideas for writing and for our return to in person learning.
