Our students come to school to be equipped as life long learners but what we have seen throughout the years is that when social and emotional needs are not met, they are unable to fully thrive in their academics. 70% of students at Greer Middle School receive free or reduced lunch. While resiliency has become a learned skill, these students often lack the education and resources of how to best take care of themselves as growing adolescents. The Caring Closet at Greer Middle School will provide a safe and confidential space of essential items for our students such as personal hygiene items, new undergarments, and wash cloths. All students will have the opportunity to access it. Our hope is that the closet will continue to grow in the years ahead and stay stocked with items our students need. Will you help the students of Greer Middle School thrive as the life long learners they want to become?
