I am excited to introduce book clubs to my middle grade readers. My students are struggling to return to novels after so much time spent on screens during distance learning, and I believe the best way to renew their love of reading is to offer exciting novels that will capture their interest. I have chosen a list of highly engaging fantasy novels that my students have been drawn to in the past. I believe that a love of reading comes through discussing great literature and making connections to what we are reading.I believe that the best way to increase a student's love of reading is through exposure to several types of novels that support their curiosity and imagination.
