I am a first-year teacher with a new class at a high school. I am collecting books since there are not many books in the classroom so that the students can read. Most of them prefer to read hard copies that to read off the internet. Getting these books will help them access new stories that are as diverse as they are. In addition, it will help to motivate them to learn about new things. Help them to be more independent and excited to read and write stories about their own unique lives.
