Our program classroom provides students with a safe, independent learning space outside the mainstream classroom. The active seating in our classroom will allow students to safely relieve any restlessness or extra energy while they are working. This seating will also serve as a safety measure, given most of our students "tip back" or "sway back and forth" while seated. We are seeking to make school a less intimidating space, and hope to welcome in students with a physical environment in which they can thrive. With the right tools, we can help close the gaps between learners!

About my class
