My goal is to help students learn in fun and enjoyable ways! I want music class to always be full of energy and excitement! My students love to play rhythm instruments. When students start school in kindergarten we begin with simply keeping a steady beat. As students progress and get older we work on reading rhythms and adding rhythm instruments to accompany songs, live readings of books, and nursery rhymes. Our rhythm instruments are mostly made of wood and have quite a few years of wear on them. I would like to replace the instruments with plastic ones. This would make cleaning and disinfecting easier and more effective throughout the day.
