Technology seems to reach a wide variety of students no matter what their academic or cultural backgrounds may be. Osmo’s is an Award-Winning Educational System for Ipads. This program provides hands-on manipulatives. My student’s will enhance their learning in literacy, math, phonics, word-building, and much more. There are many games that are included in the kit. It has Masterpiece, which teaches drawing and creative confidence; Newton, which helps with creative problem-solving skills. Numbers teaches counting, addition and multiplication. Tangram promotes spatial relational skills. Words teaches spelling and critical thinking skills. Pizza Co. teaches math, money, fractions and non-verbal communication. Students are able to play individually, in a small group or as a whole class. These educational tools keep kids engaged in learning and build their confidence in the classroom.
