Palacio. Through reading the book and working in class during book clubs, students will learn how the main character overcomes many hurdles to be the most celebrated student at school. This unit will dive into lessons on morals, being good humans, and character growth. Then at the end, each student will get to keep a book they can cherish for years to come.
