We need art supplies so the students will be able to access another way to express understanding, experiment, make mistakes, get messy, and be unafraid to pursue their dreams. Art will be used to explore cross cutting concepts related to math and social studies. The students need a break from the computer screen. Allowing them an alternative to Zoom through art will give the students a needed break from technology and allow them to use a different set of skills to explore new concepts. Students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts introduced in class.
