My special education resource students are learning the same skills and objectives as students in the regular education classroom. More often than not, the activities and assignments in the 6th grade curriculum books are too difficult for them. They feel defeated that they cannot understand the complicated vocabulary and instructions. Teachers Pay Teachers offers many options for engaging and exciting paper and virtual lessons created by other teachers that cover the same objectives we are learning, but are easier to understand. These lessons would be a great asset to our curriculum.
