New basketballs in our class will allow all students access the ability to use high quality equipment all of the time. Basketball encourages agility, speed, strength, cardiovascular endurance, team building, and self-esteem just to name a few benefits. Students notice when they have materials that are tattered versus presentable, it should be our goal to provide them with materials that reflect how we want them to feel about themselves. I do not want my students to feel inwardly tattered, therefore why would I continue to give them outwardly tattered materials. The product I selected will help students through our basketball unit, as well and during any free play time. As we offer choice in our PE units, many students throughout the year will be participating in this basketball unit.
