My AISP room is filled with many cubicles to help students focus and complete their assignments when away from the regular classroom. When students are not able to attend their regular classroom, the AISP room is an alternative environment for students to collect themselves and focus on completing their assignments. Sitting in the same room at the same desk in an uncomfortable chair that allows for minimal movement, is extremely tough on middle school students. Having multiple options for flexible seating will allow students to continually learn in a comfortable environment while receiving social and emotional assistance from the AISP teacher.
