I had no materials when starting at this school, as I was a float teacher at another school. The students specifically asked for those exercise ball chairs to help release their energy. They don't get to go outside much, as they live in high crime, impoverished areas. If I could buy all of these things on my own, I would, but I am trying to use what money I can save to keep some food on hand when they return on Feb 1. I want them to have a fun and welcoming space in which to learn English Language Arts.
