Our district has been learning remotely since March 2020. My students have not been able to interact with their friends outside of school and they miss each other. They love to talk and share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and learning. So many want to share and I want them to know what they have to say is valued and important. However, the school-issued computer I am using loses connection multiple times a day. My screen blinks, turns green, and goes black. Then I have to shut down, restart and sign back into the necessary programs. It is frustrating that so much time is lost from learning, listening, and sharing. A Mac provides a more stable connection, therefore, fewer interruptions and more opportunities for interaction. Please help me give my students the time they need and deserve.
