My project will give my magnificent middle schoolers students Scholastic magazines that they love to read! Exposing students to authentic literature help students on their journey to becoming bilingual readers, bi-literate learners, and multi-culturally aware members of society as well as individuals who think critically about the world around them. While they are learning from home they can use the digital magazine and engage in fun activities online. These magazines immerse beginners in the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Using engaging topics and research-based scaffolding activities, ¿Què Tal? helps students develop speaking, listening, and comprehension skills. The gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me access to differentiated teaching resources that meet the needs of my students.
