The materials will be utilized for students with special needs who struggle with fine motor skills as the pencil grips will assist those students. Those pencil grippers will be utilized at home and at school. Since all of my students with special needs are performing behind grade level, at least half of the year is spent learning "All About the Alphabet" which is where that wonderful chart will be utilized as a part of interventions across several kindergarten students. The alphabet and math keys will be utilized on a daily basis as well. The keys are great as they will also be utilized as a fine motor activity, too. The Howard B. Wigglebottom book goes along with the students' social emotional individualized education program goals!
