The computers in our classrooms are the turn of the millennium relics. They are so old that they often do not work. As an educator, it is my responsibility to ensure that our students have true access to the internet. I am especially excited about having each student in the classroom have access to their own computers. Students will be able to create documents, blog, and put together multimedia presentations. Students will also be able to do research, create and design pamphlets to alert our community about current issues, communicating with other students around the world, writing and publishing their own work and practicing journalism with others to cover stories on social justice topics. Your donation will do more than allow our students to keep up with new technology. Your donation will make it possible for my students to see the power of action. We teach our students that anything is possible if you put forth the best effort. Your donation will help level the playing field and will give our Agents of Change a fighting chance to succeed. That is, quite simply, social justice in action.
