Students will be allowed to bring books home to read so that they have access to self-selected texts even during periods of remote learning. We are in need of increasingly diverse titles in order to build student engagement, which will help us improve the academic language of a diverse group of learners in an organic way. This project will allow us to offer our students titles that are both high interest AND titles that include characters or subject matter that they can directly identify with. Many of our students do not have access to home libraries, and with your help we will be able to send home books that can benefit not just the student but the entire home.
